Pieces of the broken up ice sheet deposited on shore at high

tide.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Open water, so it must be Spring.  I'm continually amazed at the seemingly harsh conditions there (but then, we have tornadoes).  The blue really accentuates the cold... Mike

Very blue and very cold. I haven't checked out if you have written where it is, but I guess it must be far north. The whole serie of images from that environment is most interesting.

This is really early for us to get the start of breakup;winter has been warmer than usual and very little snow to isolate the ice.A really good storm would see these shores pile up with a lot of ice given that gap of open water....so we will see. With the relative absence of ice in the Gulf, the seals will be looking for a place to have their pups....maybe these shores as we saw some years ago.

P.S....I guess I chose the wrong winter to go to Florida when it has been so nice here.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent

This is not so far North;look for Miscou Island,New Brunswick,Canada on Internet maps. Not so cold presently but still enough to get those camera fingers numb as you surely know/experienced in your winters.Thank you for the kind write.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
