Thank you for looking in and for the observations on this and my other shots of this outing.It is indeed pretty messy out there at this time of the year when the ice sheet breaks up and the tides and winds are forever changing the landscapes/icecapes.It can also be a pretty boring sight(photowise) to have this expanse of white territory stretching as far as the eyes can see,in the process smoothing out all the intricate interlocking of the zillion pieces puzzle.So to keep the interest up front,I usually try to isolate small portions of it and anchor these scenes with interesting pieces of ice against a good sky as backdrop.
