Sandy; I like this subject. It reminds me of so many places I have visited in the West. I assume the ski resort in the background is doing better than the ranch? I'm wondering about this image in color. In this B&W version the tones in the barn roof and other outbuildings are so close to those in the background hills that they are hard to pick out. Have you played with treatments to add a little pop to the buildings?

David, I know you are not supposed to, but as in film days, I sometimes set up one camera in Monochrome, one in color.  I find it easy, and this is one of those situations -- no going back.  Not a skier, but think they do well, weather permitting.  A strange area with lots of contradictions.  Thanks for commenting! Sandy:  Agree with David.  The roofs of the two buildings to the right are blending in with the first hill, making it difficult for them to stand out.  Composition and subject are fantastic.  Love old barns like these.
