Vignette captured in the rain forest along the trail to Cape Flattery, Olympic National

Park, Washington state. These tiny ferns are only about 1/2 inch (12mm) across the

fronds, and the tiny white flowers are only a couple of mm across. These delicate

plants live and thrive right on the edge of the hiking trail, marked be the embedded
