More deer this morning -- this one, who I have photographed before,

not so shy. The others ran to a safe distance. D 750 80-400VR (old

model) 3/7/2015 Several other new photos in the folder.

Sandy, apparently your relationship with this creature encouraged it to pose for you.  The deer's expression is priceless.  I'm curious about the split in its right ear.

Michael -- This is the third or fourth time this deer has held its ground when the others have run, almost wonder if it wasn't a pet at some time.  The split ear is not uncommon, I haven't been able to get a good answer on how it happens.  Thanks for looking / commenting. Sandy
