gwen_shafer 1 Posted October 13, 2003 I thought this was a great image, but don't think I captured it "perfectly." Do you have suggesstions for how I could have done it better? (and should I edit out the tree branch in the upper right hand corner of the photo? There wasn't much choice concerning from where I could take the photo...) Link to comment
maco_maco 0 Posted October 13, 2003 Too much mess from the top, the backgound could have more saturated colors. Also the main subject is too much in the middle. Link to comment
carlton 0 Posted October 13, 2003 Some good strong composition lines: the upper right to lower left-center line, the quasi-horizontal line formed by the background cliff and the semicircular line formed by the background cliff, the silhouetted cliff and the limbs in the upper right. But center of interest - the vertical silhouetted trees - are too centered for me - even offset/balanced by the off-center smaller of the two. But overall its still pleasing. Maybe its the subject matter and the time of day/lighting. I like the muted colors of dawn(?) in juxtaposition with the solid blacks and blues. Link to comment
