A warm southerly wind with temperatures in the 50's have reduced the

shoreline ice to fragments.

You're welcome, we sent you some of our air, free.  This weekend was 75d and sunny, so we went to the lake ;-).  The chunk of ice anchors this very well and sets the scene while the reflections and dramatic sky finish if off.  Well done... Mike

I love the natural colours present here. Even the chunk of ice has various colours, shades and textures and the reflections in the wet sand are a bonus!

At this time we've reverted back to pure winter with 8" new snow today and temps falling into the 10 degree range tonight.  Methinks the ice will return!

Exquisite. Straight to my favorites. I lived in Michigan for three years in the late 90s. Have not been back since. This image makes me long to return.
