Sandy, and interesting perspective. I like the contrast between the heavily shadowed ridgeline and storm cloud, versus the background sky and clouds. Detail in the ridge is good, while the limited range of colors keeps it simple and accessible. For we Westerners, the burned-over aspect is less obvious, and so the profile of the trees on the ridge line is more intriguing than anomalous, at least for me.

Thanks, David.  Wildfires are a fact of life here in Montana, just hoping we continue to get some rain. The clouds put on quite a show, was visiting a business and took advantage of the location and conditions with a mini photo excursion. I took two different versions, the other with the ridge more prominent.  I prefer this.
