Cool tree.  The starburst has caused an unusual wavy coloration on the tree.  What lens is this?  Regards, Jeff

Thanks Jeff - the lens was the Nikon 14-24mm which I am convinced is made from fairy dust it's that good. The colours you refer to are just some lens flare which you would expect when shooting into the sun. The tree is also covered in multi-coloured prayer flags which you can see if you enlarge the image. I don't mind it anyway. Appreciate your comments as always

Hi Dominic.  Now that you say that the colors are flags I can clearly see them!  I see that my thought that they were flare or something was incorrect.  Thanks for pointing this out.  Regards, Jeff
