tholte 16,720 Posted February 26, 2016 It is on a nondescript fifty yard stretch of beach here in Milwaukee on Lake Michigan. I decided to photograph it every day for a month this winter and the ice made for some interesting shots. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 26, 2016 This really is a world unto itself. I've never seen anything like it. I also have to say you've photographed it beautifully. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted February 27, 2016 You did an every day shots with this nice phenomenon but effort worth it and result is a splendid series. Link to comment
PeterKrenek 26 Posted February 27, 2016 A very nice shot, Tim, the frozen ice pillars have interesting shapes and are well lit by the sunset. A bit otherworldly, indeed. The only (purely a matter of personal taste) suggestion for an alternative would be not to darken the top so much. I do not know whether this is due to ND grad or postprocessing, but it is somewhat distracting to me. Best wishes. Peter Link to comment
