ricardogirao 0 Posted February 23, 2016 This is top documental photography for me. I'm amazed by everything here... Great composition, fantastic use of the three sources of internal light, outstanding b&w and more than anything it take us there... we connect with the characters and we can feel the heat and the harshness of the place as well as the toughness of the work being done.Congrats for such a masterpiece.Regards, ricardo Link to comment
Supriyo 6,008 Posted February 24, 2016 Orhan,Beautiful composition and use of light as others have suggested. I would comment on a personal choice here. I think, I would like to see more glow on the persons surrounding the hot metal. Right now, the scene looks like, there is this bright spot in the middle of the relatively dark space. Some light is reflected off the people's faces, I just feel like seeing more of it, so that it gives a feel of the proximity of the characters to the action. Brightening up the red channel during BW conversion could be something worth trying. However, I really like the scene as is, and think this would be a terrific image in color too. Link to comment
