MarieH 688 Posted February 23, 2016 Is she carrying a sculpture on her back? Curious! Link to comment
M_Lipakis 3 Posted February 23, 2016 Hi Marie, Thanks for dropping by. I am not sure if i understand what you mean, it's just a kid running and playing inside a museum (probably bored for being there too long or without the proper guide). Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted February 23, 2016 Technically and aesthetically very well done, good composition too! Cheers PDE Link to comment
MarieH 688 Posted February 23, 2016 Michael, to me the girl or woman, hard to tel, has her arms folded in front or at her side, She is wearing a coat, and the seemingly attached arms are excessively long to be natural in comparison to the legs. As well they are too slim to be under a coat and as well there is no definition between the hands and the jacket sleeves. Seeing the sculptures, I thought it might be a worker carrying a piece over her shoulder. That was actually my first impression! I didn't know what to think of it but now I think there is some manipulation going on here. Its odd to me, pen tool in PS? Perhaps. ':) Enlarged, you can see what I mean, not so much in the thumbnail. Link to comment
M_Lipakis 3 Posted February 23, 2016 Hi Marie, thanks for your response. The only manipulation of this kind was the geometry correction. The image was stretched out from both sides in order to have the pillars and the window lines perpendicular, but i think it was not that strong to create the distortions you have seen. Maybe you were misled because you didn't considered that since it's a photo from high above it is quite natural for the legs to look significantly shorter. Anyway my biometric knowledge is not good enough to present any solid proportions, so let us leave our eyes to interpret art items the way they want. Thats the whole magic i think.Anyway, thanks again. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted February 23, 2016 Looks like a chess board with a pawn running amok ;-). An attention grabbing image... Mike Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted March 9, 2016 The statues, the long shadows and the sole human figure all combine to make this a very appealing image. Link to comment
