A nice composition with strong lines. The horizontal part of the tracks at the top left of the frame bother me just a little and I might try to crop that out. Otherwise this is a great shot.

This used to be the longest single span bridge in the world  -now it's third.

Also 3rd highest in US. They also have base jumping once a year in the fall.

 

I agree about upper left corner- I couldn't see how to do anything with it with distorting the whole thing. This is already quite a crop.G

Greg, I agree with the above comments. I like that the road deck is out of the frame. It gives the bridge a surreal, almost disembodied feel. Too bad you can't complete the effect, but it gives me an idea I might try in future. Well done.

This is best viewed large. I love the perspective. One would usually think to include the top part of the bridge in the photo -- the part of the bridge we are most used to seeing because we drive on it. But this perspective says, "Yeah, we know what a bridge roadway looks like. Now take a look at this oft-ignored part." I love the composition!
