David, you took full advantage of early morning "magic hour."  The ambient lighting together with your exposure settings is responsible for long shadows and rich color tones.

One little nit which, in my opinion, is not material to the overall quality of the image - perhaps you should have removed the lamppost sticking its head out on the right edge.

I echo Michael's comments with the exception that I'd like to see it in landscape.  Seems the lines would mesh more favorably.  Regardless, looks like a great place... Mike

Michael and Mike, thank you for your comments. They are appreciated. For Mike, here is the landscape version. I don't like it as much, since I lose the textures and colors in the foreground brick pavers, which were a significant part of the "feel".

Pierre, thank you for your interest and feedback. It is sincerely appreciated.

Holger, this was a magical dawn excursion into subjects and situations I had not previously explored. I'm glad you like this, as it is my favorite of this building. As an architect, I have a particular appreciation for materiality, so capturing the feel of the brick pavers is special, at least to me. Thanks again.

Wonderful perspective and I agree with your preference compared to the landscape version. I will have to take notes as I tend to stick to landscape too often...
