DGorinstein 20 Posted February 14, 2016 Very nicely captured and composed. Certainly BW contributes a lot to make this image immediately appealing. With all due respect, and IMHO, for me the only drawback is the store's name. I can understand purism in the photographic process, but with the resources available in modern times, sometimes you can bend the rules a bit. Another approach would be to just crop the top part, and you would probably have an equally compelling result. A philosophic issue, where there is certainly no right answer. Nothing however, takes anything away from this very fine photograph (I usually make a strong distinction when I say "image" vs. "photograph" - I think the latter is more complete and appropriate to elevate the category of the end result of a capture through a camera).DG Link to comment
edbrown 0 Posted March 24, 2016 The rhythm of the umbrellas and the windows without the distraction of color creates a 'dynamism' that I find very appealing. Link to comment

Wayne Melia 6,037 Posted January 3, 2017 Eye-catching contrast and fun to view. Good job catching them all in a row to get the aforementioned rhythm. Link to comment
