Bieler Höhe, Silvretta

This photo has been chosen "photo of the week" Oct 6 which I was

unaware of until recently. There have been some very constructive

critics - many thanks to the authors - ; to which I cannot reply

directly, the system apparently does not allow my reply to those

comments, I am therefore reinserting the picture taking into account

some of the suggested changes. I admit that the light would have been

better 15 minutes earlier, but unfortunately at this hour traffic was

very slow so there were simply no cars passing by. Nevertheless I

tried to lighten up the foreground a bit and cut off the lefthand

portion of the picture, which I should have already done in the first

place.

Dieter,  You deserve to have won this honor and distinction.  The curvy road perfectly takes me through the mountain pass.  You have captured a sense of speed and motion bringing an inanimate landscape alive.  Terrific!  Larry
