We were at my Daughter's on Sunday helping her get settled into her

new apartment. My son Jesse, his fiancé Jen and baby daughter

Layla visted as well. The men got the curtain rods hung and other

chores seen to while us girls between small tasks played with Layla.

With this shot I used Textures and tried a soft Ivory Matte finish. I

don't mind how it turned out. I hope you enjoy this capture. :) Gail

Thanks so much Bill. Her cheeks were a bit 'ruddy' as she is teething at the moment, but I didn't want to adjust them at all.  I appreciate your visit so much!

A strong shot, Gail, it feels unique - not at all your typical overly syrupy baby picture. Here the baby's directness and already emerging personality (along with your stellar composition and PS work) captures our attention and defines the picture. This goes into my favorites.

A very lovely baby, Gail.  Her eyes are gripping, strong.  I love the texture of her baby hairs and the clothing.  I like what you've done to this.
