Oh man great focus and a great expression well caught.

Holger

Michael, who ran the Jolly Angler pub in Manchester, passed away a year ago. His son loved a particular picture that I had taken, and asked if I could make them a copy.

I gave them what I thought was the right one. Not the right one. Found another one recently. Nope. The right one was about eight years old, from before I had a good film scanner.

These pictures are from the rescanned roll. The image attached to the comment is the one his son wanted. Thanks Holger. best, j

I think Holger must have clean glasses. I know that's cheating, but he can see the sharp parts. best, jamie

p.s.: isn't it gratifying to see that the blurry pictures have a long and venerable history? this one must be nine years old.

I don't see that it is all that blurry at all Jamie - I don't know what it would be like blown up - but at this size is quite sharp - how nice that you can give your friend a Memory of his Dad.
