Feel the calm of the moment

Hi Marta,  Here's a few thoughts that I have for your photo.  First, I love the soft colors - they are very pretty.  The mountains/hills are a unique color that I have not seen before.  A few things to think about.  First, your horizon is in the middle of the picture - it's straight, so that's a plus!  However, in your photo, is the sky more interesting? or the water?  It doesn't appear that you have any clouds in the sky, so I'm thinking the water may be more interesting if I have these 2 choices.  Having said that, if you were to crop this picture to have less sky and less water - does that make it a stronger photo?  The birds are small, not sure if that add much to the photo, but I do like what I believe is the channel marker.

Horizontal line almost in the middle. In this case I preferred not to choose (sometimes rules doesn't run to me) Horizontal layers increase the calm sensation. Yes no clouds, only pure sky. I decided not to drown the scene. Calm but no static. All flow quiet but all is alive. That was my interpretation to transmit the magic of the moment. I have no idea if I have achieved it.
