This image captures so many nuances in this structure that makes it difficult to enumerate them all.  The arch tends to frame the wall and window behind it, and the vegetation clinging to the structure provide contrast to the masonry and the ravages of time that affect it.  All in all, there's plenty in this frame to hold a viewer's interest.
