Thank you!These fishermen are forever looking for a better spot on the ice....especially if the catch is poor or if the neigbor has better luck.Here the chain saw gets a taste of salt water; the man will cut a small hole,20cmX20cm to check the thickness of the ice and then measure the depth of water to bottom at high tide,important to make sure it is not too deep as fishing is by spear and the smelt is a fish which swims close to bottom.If conditions are good,a bigger hole is cut and the cabin is moved over it.Note that the man is barehanded not to get his gloves wet....hard work-tough fisherman!
