M_Lipakis 2 Posted January 23, 2016 A "soul reading" portrait. Looking at your portraits i start making scenarios about the personality of your models, right or wrong it makes no difference. Maybe because "you keep it simple" i almost feel your bound with the people that you photograph. A series of "true photos" Link to comment
andresfaya 0 Posted January 23, 2016 I like the high contrast of the image and the grain. Where you pushing the film? The composition works very well and the neutral look of the model invites the viewer to look beyond the physical beauty and is somehow pulled into the deepness of the personality.A type of portrait any photographer would like to be able to take. sideris 0 Posted January 25, 2016 Merci beaucoup mon ami! I'm flattered with your visit and your words! MichailLike always, as a clever observer you're very close of the meaning that this series has to me. This picture was taken many many years ago, in those days this woman was my model and my muse. True photos, true confidence, true love. Efgaristo poli! AndresTime ago I've read some interesting statements done by Cartier Bresson, he said that in portraiture he use to be like a mosquito, flying around the subject trying to capture the face without posing, in a millisecond of genuine personality, the real expression, the real gaze. Curiously, I believe that the Bresson sight is perfectly reflected in the sight of his subjects. Trying to pretentiously emulate Bresson principles this afternoon I was lucky, not skilled, almost an accident. Thank you a lot. Link to comment
