Laurent, another very engaging image from the frozen North. I hope today's storm is not causing you any grief. I note you used a polarizer on a UWA lens, which gives the variable tones in the sky. I tried this, too, and quickly discovered that the polarizer effect is very sensitive to its angle relative to the sun. On a UWA, you get so much angle of view that you see the entire range of this effect, leaving the sky very inconsistent. Now I keep my polarizer off the lens for focal lengths under about 30mm on APS-C, and never for stitched panoramas.

Thank you kindly for the valued observation. We got spared this latest storm and have hardly any snow compared to our normal fare. With respect to using the polarizer on UWA,I have been reminded several times and I appreciate the effects on clear skies as you note which can be downright irritating to some and try not to abuse it;on cloudy conditions as here however,I think it enhances the clouds and does wonders on the snow/ice....but again, that is a matter of taste.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
