Eystein 1 Posted January 20, 2016 - 20 is exactly what we have her right now, but I can see the water is still flowing. Nice and cold composition. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 20, 2016 Wonderful shot enhanced by the warmth of the twigs in the foreground. I applaud your photographic determination to venture out in the face of such extreme cold. I'll just sit by the fireplace and have another hot chocolate. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted January 21, 2016 Eystein, thank you for comment,is indeed interesting how after few days with this temperature water still to be liquid,so motion is the key and has enough energy to be in this shape, but ice day by day become thicker.Jack,I waited for this kind of winter scene whole Dec. and just now winter came,I like a lot to catch this water-ice subjects and was very interesting how in the valley here was -20 and up to 1500, altitude just -5 and a perfect sunny day.As water do not freezes in motion as here so us if we walk good enough and well equipped can admire and feel the nature in this condition, for sure after this a hot cup of something is well come. tm_j 30 Posted January 21, 2016 Very nice image Radu! I like the waterflow and I think the orange color of the branches added contrast well to the image. TFS! Link to comment
