Epstein,  Nice to connect with you again.  I like the multi folded mountains in the distance that have a nice mood created by the light coming down on a beautiful angle.  This and that band of clouds create a most successful image. Perhaps you'd like to open the exposure a bit in the foreground to add detail.  See how you like my tinkering.  Excellent shot.  I always enjoy your geography shows of Norway.   Larry

I'm glad to hear from you again. I had excactly the same thoughts and created a version almost identical to yours. After some back and forth, I found that a highlighted foreground took too much attention from what I think is the main point, the rays and the blue mountains in the background. I am by no means sure that the assessment was correct, but that is what I ended up with. I also had a panoramic version where I removed the whole foreground, but I didn't use that one either. Did I make a good decision? I really don't know. Thank you for interesting comment anyway.
