sjmurray 33,568 Posted January 20, 2016 Another done with the old 90mm protar lens on 4x5 ektachrome, scanned with my Epson 2450 flat bed scanner at 1200 ppi for an output print size of 10x15. The 4x5 allows tilting of the lens and film, resulting in perfect sharpness from foreground to infinity. I'm adding a 1:1 crop of the shoreline in the distance. You can make out the individual cattails! Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 20, 2016 I really like the detail of the logs and fallen cattails in the foreground. For some reason it instantly called forth a scene from a fairytale (I'm drawn to good fairytales) Link to comment
sjmurray 33,568 Posted January 20, 2016 Thanks for stopping by, Jack. I think I was drawn to this scene because of all the detail around the logs and reeds. Actually, I think this is a scene from Spring, not Fall, judging by the fresh budding trees. New life is about to spring up from the ground through the old decaying foliage. Link to comment
