Laurent, I love your images, and the juxtaposition of the blue sky with the monochromatic fore and middle ground is very compelling. Still, it's cold enough here in the Rocky Mountains that your images make me shiver all the more. Brrrrrrr! Time for another blanket.

Thank you kindly.I had several shots from this vantage and decided to apply desaturation  to see how it would turn out....maybe it makes it seem even colder than the -12C it was.

Thank you kindly.It was an interesting spot with the ice/snow's irregular surface,the grass and driftwood,....all offering a different scene with a slight change in POV.
