jokes aside, advices/critiques on black/white conversion are appreciated.

First of all, I really like this image (rated it 6). The repeating geometry of the window lines broken by the flowing clothes, the symmetry created by the human figures all work together to make an exquisite image. In my screen, this looks a bit duotone, with a touch of green in the highlighted parts. Not sure if you intended it that way. There isn't the color black anywhere in the image. The darkest shade is a dark grey, which gives the illusion of viewing through a smokescreen. The low contrast gives the impression of three apparitions almost indistiguishable from their surrounding.
