Ken, I like the subject, framing, and composition very much. The color saturation feels a little over the top, which is saying something coming from me! I just keep loving your boat pictures.

Hi David. Thanks for your comment and observations. Very difficult to get these colours looking realistic. I took several images inside the lifeboat station, which is very brightly lit by fluorescent lighting and the most prominent colour is bright orange. Looking at the RAW file I've not increased the saturation, but can see the white balance is at fault giving a false look to the colours. Keep up the good work, regards Ken.

Thanks for the explanation you provided to David.  It's an excellent reminder for me to check my white balance settings before shooting.

 

The composition and pov really showcase this boat's structure and design.  It must be incredibly fast, but with quite a bumpy ride.
