Strong picture. Great composition. Love the diagonal approach and the steam drifting over the wet street. The two people with umbrellas are well placed. This picture has a real sense of depth.

I am on the same wavelength as Jack. The only other comment that I will make and hopefully it is taken constructively, is to highlight the speckled sky in the upper right sector.

I know how challenging it can be to capture a street scene, particularly in the pouring rain, and I am honestly not very good at it. However I am learning, thanks to you, who can tell me with your comments what works and what not.

 

It was a rare scene where I live, we don't get this weather very often.

 

Tony, I noticed the speckled sky and I will think of a way to address it. Since it is an iPhone image, one has to be very careful when doing post processing.
