While the glass is sharp, I would like to see more depth in focus here. I appreciate that the lighting is poor, but a decently narrow aperture on a tripod is really needed. Is that a small dog on the table in front of him?

Dale,

THanks. I would like more sharpness as well, but so it is!  This was at a public tour, some distance away, everyone in constant motion, and low light. I don't know what is on the table either, and I was there! I think it's a pile of rags. Definitely not anything alive.. Was just trying to show the process of making a glass sculpture.

earlier in 2015, I was at a glass blower's studio and tried to take pictures but found the lighting to be difficult as well...i think this is more about the interaction between the glass blower and the glass but I do like the orange light and how it becomes integral to the process of this art...regards....David
