henrimanguy 0 Posted October 11, 2003 This is a manipulation from a photo taken by day in order to produce a moonlight effect. Do you think it is succeed ? Link to comment
dbonamo 0 Posted October 11, 2003 I love the picture, even if manipulated. However to me it appears not to be a moonlight effect but rather the castle being lighted by an artifical (bright) light comming from the left. Link to comment
seb1 0 Posted October 11, 2003 very nice photo! Bravo Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted October 11, 2003 Thank you all for your comments. You're right, David : I have made several versions with different adjustments of the "lighting" filter (name in french: "éclairage"). This one (the softer) was the more pleasant for my taste and I called it "moonlight". But I don't know if a real moonlight would give this sort of lighting. Link to comment

Spectacular effect. Regards. Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted October 13, 2003 This is much better Henri! It looks like there's an oversharppening... or is it just my monitor? Link to comment
photos of hans koot 0 Posted October 13, 2003 Hi Henry, you did a nice job here, and if such a job succeeds the basis is a good photo. As far as my understanding of french goes I agree with Margaret, but I must say that what counts for me is I like what you made. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted October 14, 2003 Thank you very much for all your comments and ratings. I do not thought that this photo would have such success. When I think that it has slept during years in my films folder and that I had throw away the paper print !... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 22, 2003 Great effect... (brings back old memories to me, I was born few kms from there, in Coetquidan...). You succeeded in bringing here all the magical feelings of Broceliande forest... Link to comment
