Though I would prefer just a bit more brightness, I like the way you have processed this and the shadows you have incorporated into the picture. The fence in the foreground, for instance, exists as a finely wrought shadowy outline and is more powerful as a projection of sunlight through the railing rather than a corporal actuality

Thank you Jack.

I wish the light was more forgiving. My main experiment here was to try out shadows as compositional element. I am glad to see that you agree with my choice.
