Moonrise - Hollywood Beach

I like the concept Marvin, the moon, the single trunk, simplistic but effective.

The jury is out on the foreground, a bit out of focus, could pose as a distraction, don't know, what do you think?

I think if it were in focus you would have a nice completed artistic image, but then again, that's just me

Thanks for the analysis & critique. It was quite dark and although I used a 50mm, f1.8 lens the aperture was wide open hence the blurred foreground. There was a very high ISO and a lot of Photoshopping to brighten this originally dark image. So, it was never going to be a great image but I did like the composition and the mood.

I really don't think this is a very good image, but I keep coming back to it. It catches my attention every time I go down the long list of landscape shots. There is something about the simplicity of concept and the way you handle the light and the proportions that works in a fascinating way. Very inspiring.

I could of coarse just change my mind. But any way. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
