This sky was obviously something you can't plan and that being said, I love how you chose to compose this. Nice job.

Superb! Excellent composition, including the electric poles. Well worth a 6. I would maybe just tone down a little the magenta cast of the snow.

Excellent leading lines and colourful tone.

Powerful colors and result is with nice visual effect here.Seems that there are not to much snow like years before.Is a strange weather,we have no snow in lower area of the city only up to 1600m,but from few days is very cold -15*C.

We had gone to bed earlier in the morning after welcoming the New Year with ''bubbles'' and even if it was cold,I could not resist going out for a walk to the end of the street to seize this year opening sunrise just in front of the house.Hope it sets the table for the year as you note.Thank you for the observation and all the best to you and yours for the New Year.

Thank you....and you are right: there is substantially less snow than the previous few years and therefore less to plow/shovel and the temperatures are relatively higher than normal.....maybe the effects of El Nino.I am however sure that winter will find a way to make up for it in the coming months.
