This image has potential, it is sharp and well exposed. However there are some items which should be addressed.

Especially with interior architectural shots like this, straight lines should be straight or the image's appeal will suffer. As was previously mentioned, use the ruler tool in PS to straighten the horizontal lines. But you should also use the filter to remove the converging vertical lines as well. There is also some barrel distortion, which can be fixed with the filter tool, but it is not that noticeable and is common in lenses with very short focal lengths.

When doing interior architectural shots, I use a 3 axis spirit level which I mount into the hotshoe. It enables me to make sure that the camera is plumb in all 3 axes. It is especially important when I do 360º panoramics with a 28mm lens (and the camera mounted vertically rather than horizontally) and have to stitch 16 images together. The spirit levels are inexpensive and can be found on auction sites or through camera equipment suppliers.

Thank you!

Especially since my interior shots have more success on PN (for which I am happy, since at my film times I could not even dream to do interior for lack of light) it is helpful to learn.

This is what I am talking about Maria. They can be purchased for around $6 USD. A VERY useful accessory!

I keep one on my Hasselblad all of the time since there is only an accessory shoe not a hot shoe, and I do not own any shoe-mount flashes anyway.

Thank you, Scott for your message.

I especially hope not to stop traveling, as to have something new to shot, although some people told me I could also sit at home and do shots of the birthday cake. It is always a fear when a project ends that there will be no funds for travel anymore ...
