Taken in the midst of terrible smoke in the air due to the fires this past summer in

Glacier National Park.....Many Glacier area.

Christal, your choice to go B&W is excellent mitigation for the smoke in the air. It adds an air of mystery. The difference in contrast between the view of mountain and sky as reflected in the water is curious, and suggests some additional opportunities in post-processing. The composition is excellent, particularly placing the canoeists in the darker reflection of the mountain. They would have been lost in reflections of the clouds and sky.

This is diametrically opposed to any photo I've ever seen of Grinnell Point and/or Glacier NP, but you did an excellent job making lemonade out of the conditions.  The choice of using b/w worked great... Mike
