I noticed this image in the daily image samples located on PN's homepage.

 

To me, the image does well to capture both the physical structure and the spiritual atmosphere of the wall.  The faithful come to it often to offer their prayers.  As you may know, this is the only remaining structure from the Second Temple, which the Romans destroyed.  That act of mindless destruction is the explanation for one of the names given to the wall, namely the title to the image.  The other:  the Western Wall.
