No, I've had this guy for a little over a year. I did take one last year with my other chameleon that died that was eating a Christmas treat and a few other pics of them wearing the hats. This will be my only chameleon Christmas pic this year. This is about the only picture I've taken in the past couple of months. Kind of lost the spark to shoot. Surely, it won't last too much longer. No, chameleons aren't really able to change colors to match their surroundings like the internet would like you to believe. A couple of commercials out there that make people think that too. I did get lucky with this, and didn't even realize it until I was done post-processing it, that his feet and and some red bars match up with the stripes on the candy cane.

After reading your reply I must say this is very innovative and beautiful. Well done Scott.
