Playing around with an old 28mm manual focus Nikkor f2.8 AiS lens that

has "CRC" (close range correction) and focuses down to about 6 inches.

It is very sharp at close range as well.

BTW, the "technical details" tab reports this as a 55mm lens.  I incorrectly set my camera for the 55, but this was taken with the 28.
