Side note ~ I was a member of a club here in the states called the Young Men's Polish American Association, (YUMPAA). I have been a member since 1981, the club was established in 1924 and was around during prohibition and was a "speakeasy"

in the 90's I could see the club was failing so me and some business friends of mine put together a business plan to revitalize it. I remember the current council sitting there smoking their cigars rejecting everything.

Last August the club closed but we had 7 meetings, again I proposed my ideas, again it was rejected. They were not favorable to new ideas, they wanted to cling to the old. Some  people do not want to change even if it means closing an iconic institution....
