Nice shot. I guess the lens is the reason for the dark corners. I this case it gave the image an extra touch.

From the first glance I immediately recalled the great work of Dali, a girl looking from a window upon seeing your image.

Saad: I was not familiar with that painting so i looked it up. Thank you so much. If you ever come to Crete i would be more than happy to take you there, provided the village isn't totally covered with water by then.

Not easy to control this high dynamic range of light but you did a superb job. Congrats.

I looked this village up on the internet and viewed a U Tube Video and read an articl in a newspaper. It is unfortunate that this ancient place is disappearing. I understand from the article it is being deliberately flooded to solve a water problem in nearby Heraklion . I think this will be a treasured moment your family will always cherish as this very room may not exist above water very soon. The image itself is excellent (for me) and truly a 'moment' shared by Mother and Daughter that will always be remembered. Good use of natural light. Truly a 'Room With A View' :)
