RR Bridge over the Mississippi

I took this before I went digital. 4x5 ektachrome, scanned. This is

a wooden barrier on the Mississippi in St. Paul, MN. I don't exactly

know why this barrier is here, but I think it has something to do with

the railroad bridge. You can see the trees and logs that piled up

after being carried down river during periods of high water.
