Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted November 12, 2015 I hiked up Mt. Pugh in Washington's Cascade mountains hoping for a nice sunset & sunrise. I didn't have great hope for the milky way since there was a moon. I set my A7rII to time-lapse a couple times in the night and this was one of the last in the 2nd set. Lucky line up of mountain, stars, moon, and clouds. Link to comment

Mark Z 371 Posted November 12, 2015 I love these kinds of lunar and planetary alignments. They give a great perspective on our place in the solar system. You've got the Moon, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter lined up here - Mercury was rising, but it is too close to the sun to be visible. Link to comment
Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted November 26, 2015 Thanks for all the comments everyone. This one was a bit lucky, although I did have to work hard to get there (and back down the next day)! Link to comment
