Surely this is a magical kingdom where mere mortals are denied permission to enter. How you then got this shot is beyond me but I'm glad you did. Exceptional!

Christoph and Bela: The lush green in the original color image is attractive too, but I chose the BW version because of the strong lines created by the trees. Thank you very much for your comments.

Jack, thank you for visiting this image and writing words of encouragement. This was taken in India along a river bank in a national forest. 

An outstanding composition with deep rich dark tones. I like the reflection also Supriyo. I think the contrast of white against dark forest is what draws us in to this image but there is quite a significant amount of other equally interesting things to see. A great New Year to you and yours.
