Mercat de Sant Antoni

The Sant Antoni Market is located in the district of San Antoni, in the Eixample of

Barcelona. Designed by architect Antoni Rovira i Trias, inspired by the buildings of the

Halles de Paris and the Born Market, was built by la Maquinista Terrestre y Marítima

and inaugurated by the Mayor Rius i Taulet in 1882. 31-07- 2006.
