Most of the leaves have dropped off the trees now, and we're waiting

for winter!

I posted a similar shot of this spot, but this one is a little wider.

Beautifully handled, Steve. The clarity of the reflection and the blue of the sky mirrored in the still water is extraordinarily compelling. It's almost as if Nature is pausing between breaths. Absolute stillness. I sure so miss the time when a host of photographers would comment on superb pictures like this.

Thanks for your comment, Jack.  This is a beautiful spot, and I end up photographing it a lot!  We've had unusually nice weather lately too.  During the summer I don't get back here much because the hiking path is overgrown with stinging nettles.  Fall and Spring are when I get photos. I've mountain biked through here in the winter too, but its all snow.
