Or, "Hey, watch where you slap that thing!"  Another great action shot.  I think the local paper (or Culligan) would love these... Mike

Culligan?  The soft water people?  I'm afraid you've lost me there.  Oh, wait!  I see it now, one of the advertisers behind the action!  But the local newspaper, perhaps.  Except if they don't get the shot shortly after the game (or even during?) it's old news.  This guy must have thought, if only for a moment, that he was the only player from his team on the ice.  Thus the title. (apologies to Frank Sinatra)   Always a treat to hear from you.  Best, Len.

"HEY, CULLIGAN MAN!"   Remember that TV commercial?  If you do, I'll post your age on the net.  :-)  In Canada we have most products you have in the U.S.A;  it's just that they cost about 50% more here.  We also play baseball, just not as well apparently, this year anyway.  :-(  Thanks for your visit.  Best, Len.

I do remember the Culligan man commercial from the 1960's.  !  I just celebrated my 60th birthday!

Yea we're all there as far as the culligan man goes. Guilty, 60 as charged.... Great shot Len you've really gotten good at getting the action at the right moment......I see a new career emerging for you :-)

Best Always, Holger

When I saw some action unfolding I focused on a player, this time the guy trying to contain the puck, and let loose with a burst of 3 to 5 frames.  Lady Luck plays a big part. For someone who has attended one game every 5 or 10  years and shoots from the stands I can't deny her.  New career?  Perhaps as an annoying fan!  Click-click-cllick-click!   :-)  Best, Len.

Wonderful hockey series!  All of them are excellent.  This is probably my favorite tho'.  It tells more of a story with the commentators and spectators, and there is a great sense of the action.  Great work!

Thank you.  It was a fun experience.  I could have titled this one "A little help here?!" Shooting from the stands can be a challenge.  The game is unfolding in front of you, you raise the camera to capture the action, then someone walks in front of you with beer, soda, and popcorn for his\her friends or family.  Well, not to worry, lots more coming in a few seconds. :-)  The real work starts in post at home.  Best, Len.
