Guest Guest Posted November 13, 2015 I think there's enough imbalance in the rest of what's going on that her being centered isn't a problem for me. She seems surrounded by textures turned more solid, almost concrete shapes and lines around her. It's a different sort of take and captures the imagination. Though her eyes are closed and she's off in her own world, it's rather expressive, especially because of your interesting take on the black and white, scratchy surface look. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted November 13, 2015 Thank you for your comment, the scratchy surface look mostly is the result of a careless bw film treatment at the lab, plus a large diffuse stain on the scanner plate. First I was very upset with the lab guys and with myself, but after several attempts to process it in different ways I suddenly got to this point, and I thought... maybe ...Again, thank you Fred.
