alfbailey 1 Posted October 25, 2015 Ahh yes you have already answered my question with this image and if I'd looked at the photo's in the order you posted them I would have known better. : - ) That being said, I prefer the composition of this image. It has it all, textures, reflections, good shutter speed to make the most of the falls and a very nice balance too.. I also like the B & W tones, but it would be interesting to see the colour version for a comparison?I like this a lot! Best Regards Alf Link to comment
Pinklather 465 Posted October 26, 2015 Several superb images tonight, Michael. This one seems the strongest to me, but the others were excellent as well. This was a conversion?Your work in general is a pleasure to see. Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 28, 2015 It took me a while to think of an appropriate response to your critique. Here goes. Your comments are as thorough as they are constructive. I wouldn't expect you to pull any punches if you thought the image was lousy. So you pointed out what you considered to be the strongest elements, which I found to be exceptionally helpful. I am grateful for opportunities to learn from you. michael Link to comment
alfbailey 1 Posted October 28, 2015 Thank you for posting the original colour version. It is always good to see the raw material you worked with and on this occasion I think you made a wise decision to convert to the B & W.You have brought out the rough rock textures and contrasting smooth white water really well, and in doing so added greater depth to the image.Best Regards Alf Link to comment
